Applications
- In the food industry, Nitrogen is used in Modified Atmospheric Packaging (MAP) as a filler gas for dry snacks, coffee, nuts, and entrees. Its non-reactive nature displaces oxygen, extending shelf-life, maintaining freshness, and enhancing the overall quality of packaged food by preventing oxidation.
- Nitrogen also serves as a refrigeration gas in advanced, turnkey cryogenic food freezing and chilling solutions, preserving product quality by preventing spoilage or aging.
